PROJECTS
I’ve contributed to high-impact projects supporting some of the largest foundations in U.S. philanthropy.

While descriptions are intentionally broad due to client confidentiality, each project sharpened my skills in stakeholder engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and equity-centered strategy. I’ve worn many hats—facilitator, researcher, administrator, thought partner—always focused on moving bold ideas toward shared outcomes.
JBP Foundation - Energy Efficiency for All (EEFA)
Project Associate I
In addition to administrative support, I developed an interactive platform using Articulate and Office 360 to streamline collaboration between JPB Foundation and it's EEFA grantees. The tool enhanced transparency, centralized key documents, and kept stakeholders informed on engagement, research, and reporting progress.

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation - BIPOC Representation & Leadership in the Economic Mobility & Opportunity Field
Project Associate I
Supported cross-team coordination behind the scenes — managing internal communications, scheduling and debriefing key meetings, administering stipends, and tracking deliverables via Asana. This project deepened my skill in resource management and operational support for equity-centered initiatives.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - New Jersey Health Initiative Program
Research Support / Project Associate I
I led outreach and data collection for public health organizations in New Jersey serving black birthing people, trans/non-binary folks, incarnated folks, and people living with disabilities. My work helped surface underrepresented groups in health equity funding — aligning strategy with values and expanding visibility where it was long overdue.

Wells Fargo Foundation - Open for Business Fund: Asset Building Program
Facilitator / Logistics Project Manager / Project Associate II
Through this cross-market initiative, I supported Wells Fargo Foundation and its OFB3 intermediaries in advancing asset-building opportunities for BIPOC-owned small businesses in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston,
Los Angeles, and Miami. I facilitated virtual Learning Action Team sessions using collaborative tools to gather input on convening content and design. From there, I led the full coordination of in-person convenings — partnering with clients, procuring vendors, managing travel and accommodations, overseeing AV and venue logistics, and maintaining the project budget.

To ensure local impact, I intentionally integrated community-based vendors and designed city-specific site visits that connected participants directly with small businesses supported by the Open for Business Fund. My work helped translate local wisdom into national learning while keeping equity at the center of every detail.

Tara Health Foundation - Racial Equity & Spend-Down Strategy
Project Associate II

In partnership with Tara Health Foundation, I supported the development of 6 key deliverables guiding the foundation’s racial equity and spend-down strategy — including a board interview summary, corpus spend-down framework, and consultancy summary.
I collaborated closely with consultants to design and implement facilitation materials for staff retreats and in-person board meetings.
I led coordination for all virtual and in-person engagements, managing scheduling, presentation design, and collaborative tools. Additionally,
I reviewed and refined external-facing reports to ensure clarity, alignment, and impact. My work helped translate complex ideas into accessible, actionable strategy across the foundation’s final chapter.

Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - Racial Equity in Preemption
Research Support / Project Associate II
For this research-driven project, I supported the design and execution of interviews and focus groups exploring the intersection of preemption policies and racial equity. Working in close collaboration with our SEALs (Strategy, Evaluation, and Learning Associates),
I led scheduling, coordinated data collection, and helped surface demographic insights to inform the project’s learning agenda.

Race, Healing & Joy - Centering Black Leadership in Reproductive Justice
Facilitator / Project Associate II
This multi-phase initiative unfolded during a critical time for reproductive justice, beginning in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s overturn. In Phase I, I facilitated deeply personal focus groups with Black RJ leaders navigating burnout and grief.
As the work evolved, I designed virtual engagement tools and facilitated Funders and Folx Circles in Phase II, creating space for honest feedback and helping KHA stay accountable as a bridge between community voices and philanthropic decision-makers.
By Phase III, I developed site visit protocols, managed full-scale team travel, designed convening materials, and coordinated the logistics for data collection across interviews, focus groups, and funder engagements — all in honor of the 30th Anniversary of Reproductive Justice and the legacy of 12 pioneering Black women.
